Itinerary
Day 1 Liverpool
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your journey to the Liverpool. Embark our ship in preparation for a late evening sailing.
Day 2 At sea
Take the day to relax aboard the ship. Perhaps find a comfortable spot on deck to enjoy the endless sea views or treat yourself in the luxurious spa.
Day 3 Falmouth
Explore the seaside town of Falmouth. Take a walk along shingled Castle Beach or Sandy Maenporth and Durgan beaches; visit the Falmouth Art Gallery or the National Maritime Museums; or enjoy coffee and shopping on the historic High Street.
You might even choose to take the small ferry across the river to St Mawes, with its pretty harbour, castle and coastal walking paths.
Day 4 Portland
This island is unlike any other part of Dorset. It’s a natural wonderland of rugged, unspoilt landscapes and coastal scenes make up the southernmost point of the Jurassic Coastline. But beyond the island itself, it’s a stone’s throw from highlights like Stonehenge, Bath and Salisbury.
Day 5 At sea
Another day at sea to relax and enjoy the ship.
Day 6 Harwich
Get lost amongst the historic streets of Harwich today. Many of the buildings here have watched over this busy port town for centuries. There are beaches to enjoy or beautiful marshlands thriving with wildlife.
Venturing a little inland, you’ll discover countryside scenes and Colchester Castle, which has served as a royal residence, prison and home to the Witchfinder General over the years.
Day 7 Portsmouth
Cobbled streets, ancient pubs and jaw-dropping views from the Spinnaker Tower. There are more than a few highlights to look forward to in Portsmouth. Add in an exciting heritage - it is the birthplace of Charles Dickens and one of the Royal Navy’s most significant ports - and you can look forward to a busy day in a vibrant waterfront city.
You might like to visit the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, which boasts over 800 years of maritime history and its exhibits include the Mary Rose, HMS Victory and HMS Warrior.
Day 8 At sea
Another day at sea to relax and enjoy the ship.
Day 9 Belfast, Northern Ireland
Thoughts of Belfast often conjure images of the mighty Titanic, famously setting off on its first and only departure. The connection between the ship and the city is still closely felt. In fact, there’s a whole neighbourhood named after the vessel: the Titanic Quarter. Titanic Belfast is a state-of-the-art multimedia museum at the neighbourhood’s centre.
The city is also blessed with beautiful coastline and awe-inspiring natural landscapes. It’s perfectly placed to discover the Giant’s Causeway, Northern Ireland’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site and an incredible natural wonder steeped in myths and legends.
Day 10 Liverpool
We arrive back early this morning and your Titan vehicle will be waiting for the journey home.
Fred. Olsen's Borealis....
With a name inspired by the Aurora Borealis, Borealis is homage to the Fred. Olsen family’s history and Norwegian heritage. And with her attentive service and more intimate size (capacity for less than 1,400 guests), you’ll certainly feel like part of the Fred. Olsen family aboard this elegant vessel.
On a cruise holiday, we know your on board experience is just as important as your time ashore. And on Borealis, you’ll have plenty to keep you entertained during those long, leisurely days at sea. Indulge your taste buds’ desires in one of the six restaurants, from sprawling breakfast buffets to sumptuous five course a la carte dinners. Perhaps relax by one of the two swimming pools, while away an afternoon at the Thermal Spa, opt for a cookery class in the Culinary Theatre or stop for a tipple with floor-to-ceiling sea views in the panoramic lounge. Each evening, you’ll be treated to a selection of live shows, ranging from music and cabaret to quick-fire stand-up comedy, all enjoyed from the stylish lounges and glitzy two-tiered theatre.
