Exmouth was once the most select seaside resort in Britain, home to such famous people as Lady Byron. Nowadays it offers a rich mixture of immaculate sands, lovely gardens and a busy marina.
Excursions from this resort include the BRAND NEW for 2022 Bicton Park Gardens which showcases 300 years of gardening history.
Llandudno is a highly attractive resort with its two sandy beaches, broad tree-lined streets, tramway and cable car routes to the summit of the Great Orme. Excursions include a trip to Plas Newydd House and Gardens to enjoy its fine spring garden and Australasian arboretum, summer terrace and woodland walk.
There is a wealth of fascinating places to visit in Newquay. The heart of the town is the old harbour, but it also has eleven magnificent sandy beaches and offers wonderful walks.
An excursion highlight includes The Eden Project, home to Rainforest and Mediterranean gardens, lavender fields and a small tea plantation.
Home to the oldest maritime warehouse in Wales and an attractive harbour, with Kenfig Nature Reserve nearby. Excursions are in abundance, including Caerphilly Castle, Plas Newydd House and the National Botanic Gardens of Wales which houses a range of themed gardens, the world’s largest single-span glasshouse and another national nature reserve.
Eastbourne is an elegant resort with an excellent sunshine record. It has a spacious promenade to stroll along and the world-famous Carpet Gardens line the seafront.
Excursions include a trip to Rudyard Kipling's former home, as well as Leeds Castle with its beautiful grounds.
Excursions on our Shanklin tours include a trip to the magical Mottistone House and Gardens, whose southernly location suits the vast arrays of borders and shrubs planted. It even has an olive grove! Whilst our Sandown tours include a visit to Queen Victoria's hideaway Osborne House, with its extensive gardens with a collection of rare trees and a full-size Swiss chalet.
